In between doing the Mum thing and writing my blog, I also work freelance as a writer, content creator and stylist. Sounds like a mouthful but really my freelance business is just an extension of the type of work you see on my blog – I write blog posts and articles, fill websites, newsletters and brochures with content and style up products to make them look their best for photos and events. Below is some more information on how I might be able to help you, and scroll to the bottom to get in touch or request a media pack.

Writing words on the internet is my jam, and I like to think after over a decade of practice, I’m pretty good at it too. If you’re looking for the right words to make your brand sing – whether that’s website copy, newsletters and email campaigns, attention grabbing blog posts or anything in between, I’d love to help you! I’m also available for writing commissions, and regular wordy gigs so if you’re in need of an article or a freelance contributor for your website or magazine, I’m your gal.

Nowadays words aren’t enough on their own, you’ll also need creative images, catchy videos and so much more. Having been part of the blogosphere for 9 years now, and worked on the other side in PR and blogger outreach for 5 of those, I’m pretty familiar with the whole ‘content creation’ thing. A bit of an annoying name but essentially we’re talking photo collages, short videos, timelapses, stop motions and great imagery – anything that makes your brand or product stand out.

I’m newer to the styling game, but it’s my true passion! If you need your products to look amazing on a page/blog post/Instagram grid then I can work with you to produce creative lifestyle imagery that gets people clicking. I can help style your event/ dinner or press day to make sure it’s Instagram worthy (I adore creating tablescapes FYI) and I’m happy to be the person who moves that strawberry one inch to the left on a food shoot because it looks more natural.

Blog Collaborations

Through my blog I’ve worked with various lifestyle brands such as Marks and Spencer, QVC, DFS, Amazon and many more, and I’d love to work with you too. I have a loyal and trusting readership which has been steadily growing for the last nine years, and I love working with brands on interesting and creative pieces which can really appeal to and benefit my readers. I’m open to sponsored posts, social media collaborations and reviews, so if that sounds like you, then let’s chat!

Work History

I’ve been doing the digital thing for quite some time now and I’ve come to love the wacky world of online content, Instagram algorithms and life in little squares. I originally started off working in Fashion PR, and quickly progressed to specialise in digital media, blogger outreach and online brand building. After 5 years helping lifestyle brands connect with bloggers and create content at my PR agency, I left to set up on my own and haven’t looked back since. Over the last four years I’ve worked with various lifestyle brands, PR agencies, not for profit companies and magazines to do fun and creative things online. And I LOVE it! I’ve written for fashion websites, helped lifestyle brands with their online persona and even produced regular blog posts and social media content for a wedding label. I’ve taken countless photographs, styled many an Instagram image and spent a whole day playing around with tea leaves. My blog has gone from strength to strength alongside all of this and is now a firm fixture in my freelance business, and I count myself very lucky to be able to pursue a passion of my own and still call it work.

I’ve recently returned to freelance work following a maternity break and would love to hear from you if you have a creative project/ collaboration or writing role you think I could be a good fit for.
