This year for my birthday I made the decision to treat myself to a pair of shoes from cult/ cute shoe designer Sophie Webster. I’ve been a fan of her designs ever since she launched back in SS13, and as a prodigee of Nicholas Kirkwood you know she’s only set to get bigger and bigger. It’s not very often that you find designers that manage to blend well made products with super cute and adorably childlike designs, but Sophia does it perfectly and after attending one of her first presentations at LFW and realising that she too, loves unicorns a little too much, I decided she was a girl after my own heart.
I was all set to splurge for my birthday in a couple of weeks time, when a little bit of fashion fate came my way and I received an invite to her sample sale this weekend! Oh happy days indeed, it’s as if the fashion gods were looking down on me and praising my footwear choices. It meant that my birthday present to myself had to come a little sooner than planned but shoe bargains such as this wait for no man.
I’ve had my eye on these Amelia boots for a while, they are old season and rather tricky to track down, especially in pink, so as soon as I spotted them through the window while queuing up yesterday I knew exactly where I was headed. It was perfect timing in every sense of the word as I was very nearly getting drawn in by a pair on Ebay which were far more than I ended up paying for these, whew!
They are brand new, unworn, came in a gorgeous box and were less than half their RRP price, I couldn’t be happier! Thanks to that rather fortunate blessing of being a perfect sample size, I also managed to bag two other sample pairs which I’m sure I’ll be sharing soon enough, but for now I’ll leave you feeling jealous of these absolute beauties!
