‘Tis the Season | Our Personalised Christmas Cards

Top Uk lifestyle blogs, Jaclyn RuthI think it’s a right of passage for parents that on your baby’s first Christmas, you make a cheesy personalised holiday card of them in a ridiculously cute festive outfit, am I right?

I honestly never thought I’d be one of those parents, but turns out – yup, couldn’t wait to dress E up in a Christmas jumper and put her cute as a button face on a card ready to send to all of our friends and family – sue me, I’ve fallen prey to every ‘1st Christmas’ cliche out there.

But while our photo shoot with E in an array of festive outfits might have been a tad cheesy, our cards themselves were definitely not. And that’s all thanks to the amazing quality, style and design of Rosemood Atelier – a fantastic stationery and printing company making personalised a much more stylish affair.

This navy ‘Happy Holidays’ design was our first choice, and the colours of the leaves can be changed to suit, as well as opting for either gold, silver or copper foil. The back page allows for three personal pictures (they don’t have to be of your baby of course!) and a message of your choice.

Choosing one wasn’t easy however, as Rosemood have such a gorgeous range of Christmas and holiday cards. And if you’re thinking it’s too late to organise Christmas cards this year, why not opt for a new year hello? Otherwise you can find everything from birth announcements to wedding invitations to Christening cards as well as traditional stationery such as notepads and gift tags.

We were really impressed with both the service we received and the quality of the final cards when they arrived. Upon submitting our finished design, our card was sent to the brands design team for review and we then received an email with the small changes that had been made, such as the lightening of the photos and adjustment of text. We were able to accept or decline these changes and add any of our own before they were sent to print.

I was really excited to open our box of cards when they arrived, and the quality didn’t disappoint – the cards were thick and sturdy with a gorgeous textured effect and the gold foil was gorgeous (as was our little girl in the photos on the back!).

Top Uk lifestyle blogs, Jaclyn RuthI can’t wait for all of our family and friends to receive them and we’ve kept a few for ourselves too as a little memento of our first Christmas as a family to look back on in years to come. I know I’m at risk of being one of those annoying first time parents who gushes constantly and talks non stop about their child, but with each day that we get closer to Christmas this year, my excitement levels rise and I’m really just giddy at the idea of spending some quality family time with our little monster.

I definitely think a personalised card might have to be an annual Christmas tradition now πŸ˜‰ If you’d like to design cards of your own, check out the amazing selection over at Rosemood (stationery geeks unite!)
